Plant Turnaround: Stabilized the main operating facility of a manufacturer of durable goods. Identified and implemented structural changes to reduce:

Plant Leadership: Guided a CPG packaging plant through a 3-year period that experienced:

Sourcing Assessment and Execution: Developed strategies to relocate internal production to external resources to reduce cost & avoid capital spend:

  • Saved $7-8M annual savings by outsourcing zippered bags, producing higher margin products on open internal capacity.
  • $4-5M annual savings on smaller run household chemical products.
  • Rapid development and execution of a household chemical concentrate strategy to address changing consumer trends.

Examples of Our PM Leadership:

Speed-to-Market:  

  • Multiple examples of rapid response to provide prototypes and small scale production samples to support consumer testing and test markets.
  • Only 6-months after ideation, a new fabric stain treatment product was in the retail space via planning and focused execution.
  • Advance development of options to supply a 16-month lead component within 2-weeks of R&D approval of the material, allowed a global pest control product launch to avoid a year’s delay.


Building & Footprint:

  • Oversaw the addition of over 200,000 square foot and manufacturing and warehouse space for a facility maintaining production and shipping during construction.
  • Engaged external engineering and global real estate to develop proposal for new site in SE Asia.


Integration of Acquired Operations:

  • Engineering leadership to integrate acquired shoe care business into company facilities in Asia, SE Asia, Africa and Europe.
  • Operational assessment of a New Zealand-based manufacturer for successful bid. Led sourcing activities & planning to identify suppliers & manufacturing locations to support expanded distribution in Europe and LATAM.
  • Assess and integrate a complete home storage product line into company portfolio and convert supply chain to support increased demands.
